The reason why Annie still doesn't have HTTPS is a bit convoluted, but basically, as long as you don't re-use passwords, we don't really need it.

Restating my question as to what that reason it, because on at least some of my computers/OSes I now get a 404 instead of a “non-HTTPS site” warning when trying to visit Annie.

What reason is that?

Request: HTTPS. I think Let's Encrypt is still the easiest path?
