This is the dialect used in Imperial courts and edicts, or anywhere else associated with the bureaucracy. The spoken language is a more ornate form of Imperial Common, and the script is an intricate set of runes. Most official documents intended to be read by commoners are written in Imperial Common with the New Runic alphabet. It is actually the ‘official’ script of Imperial Common, commonly eschewed for the simpler Naisylvan script.
