They are references to parts of the conworld (given that the country in question is quite large), though the images come from I take during my travels. Similarly, the people on the horses/equestrian statues are references to in-world former kings (similar to the current Polish złoty notes: even though Poland's a republic, their notes all have former Polish monarchs), but I took them from real-life equestrian statues in various places.

(This latter song sounds quite a bit like another song, to me at least. It also, oddly enough, reminds me of my last trip to Italy with my mother in 2002, before we left Germany, since this song played quite a bit on the car CD player.)
