Various subordinating constructions



Aside from verbs that take subordinate clauses as primary (usually accusative) arguments, such /βa/ <ba> to think, subordinate clauses typically take the clause being in a given case (and marked on the verb as an argument in that case) and a following relative clause consisting solely of a verb qualifying the subordinate clause. Examples of these are:

Some of these may be applied to noun phrases that are not subordinate clauses, generally when one taking the place of a subordinate clause would make sense.
