This dictionary is intended to be a collection of the panchronic lexical corpus of the Marshlandic language. In order to be user-friendly, it uses an adaptation of the Roman transcription that reflects much of the phonological information communicated in the indigenous Marshlandic script, but otherwise missing in everyday Roman transcription. This primarily takes the form of vowels with macrons, which indicate historical length, and often affect subsequent syllables.
