I still feel pretty dead inside. I want to drink heavily, but that will only make the situation worse. I'm kind of furious with my friends, which is stupid and selfish and petty because they didn't actually do anything wrong. I tried talking to my friend about what happened but it wasn't productive at all.

Weird, yes, but I would also categorize it as somewhat predictable. La cosa nostra is for sure seen as "alternative belief" by norms. (my coinage for non-con-thing-ers) I'm sure Torco might agree.

I got called ma'am twice on the phone today (I work in a pizzeria call center). It registered, but I didn't take any special note of either until later on.
My voice is right now. In person I'm being correctly-gendered about a fifth of the time, more like 90% of the time at night (freaking facial hair…can't wait 'til I can afford electrolysis).
Today I'm going down to my doc's office to pick up the necessary paperwork to get the gender change court order (the neanderthals in charge of my birth certificate will change the name but not gender marker). I turn 31 in November, and it'll be the first of many to come.

Facial hair is the WOOOOOOOOORST. I hate my voice though. I went to see a therapist but she was disturbingly ugly - not the sort of shit I normally say, but she was very corpulent, and had terrifyingly bulging eyes.

I was comparatively lucky. I've never had a particularly low voice, and I've always played around with it as a norm, so once I started working on it seriously I got results, though they were admittedly sporadic until this last week due to my brain being screwy with recall ability (I'd do perfect intonation and timbre, then immediately forget everything about how I'd done it; note that this is different from not knowing how I did it in the first place).
I can't believe I'm at work already, and I've had gotten here sooner but I had to look extra cute. (Originally written at 8:20am, but I didn't post it because I got busy doing my actual job...)
