To spruce up the front page, I've decided to add featured articles (amongst other things.) The idea is simple: much like Wikipedia's featured articles, you nominate a page and it gets featured. I'll try to rotate them once every month or week once things get rolling, though at first I'll take whatever I can get. Please submit a one-paragraph summary and I'll insert it appropriately on the front page. (Whoever submits first gets the first slot—we can do voting for the next one after that, once things get rolling.)

The universe is a cake; void, atmosplane, ocean, crust, mantle, molten liquid, iron slab, all held together by the slab's magnetogravitic field. They all extend out to infinity along the x and y axes, while the void extends into infinity along the upper z axis. Landmasses worthy of a real-world terrestrial planet, called toli (sg. tol), dot the endless ocean like islands - brought up above the surface of the ocean because of the all-important metaparticles, finicky little subatomic particles that can transmute into any other particle.
I was working on it yesterday, had a small introductory blurb added, but then I took an arrow to the knee and lost all my work. I'm going to attempt to fix it up again today. Yes, with a free translation.
Okay... it's been another month, and, honestly, looking through things I'm pretty darn tempted to put up Matrix's Salenzis from Maikros, or perhaps one of the pages within it. Pretty pictures, lots of text, coherently written. Please, please, please, anyone else, don't be afraid to self-nominate.
The term ‘piracy’ when it refers to making unauthorized duplications of a copyrighted work is actually in reference to how pirates used to board merchant ships and make exact copies of everything on board, leaving the crew and cargo unharmed, but devaluing the goods slightly.
