the Universe was created. This made many people very angry, and has since been widely criticised as a bad idea.

Much later, on the planet that is now known as Rireinu, a local species of primate with pronounced sexual dimorphism achieved sentience. Or at least the female of the species did. The males, about half the size of females, remained innocent of such things as language, abstract thought, and what to give your mother-in-law for her birthday. Somewhere along the line the females lost most of their body hair, and gained psionic powers.
