Elision of /ʔ/ in all positions.

High tone for the first syllable where the first obstruent preceding its nucleus is voiceless.

Devoicing of all obstruents.

/æ/ developes the allophones [ɛ a ɑ] before a coronal, not before a coronal or uvular, and adjacent to a uvular.

Assimilation of all plosive clusters into long plosives, taking the POA of the last plosive in the cluster, with them being ejectives if any of the plosives in the cluster were ejectives, except if the preceding plosive is an affricate. In the process the lowering and backing of vowels adjacent to /q(ː) qʼ(ː) χ(ː)/ and the allophones of /æ/ are phonemicized.

Assimilation of all mixed coronal POA clusters consisting of obstruents and nasals so they have the same POA, taking the POA of the last member of the cluster.

/ɸ θ s ʂ ɕ x χ/ become /h/ after vowels and before consonants.

/h/ becomes /ɦ/.

/hː/ becomes /h/.

/χ/ after a vowel becomes /h/.

Voicing of intervocalic short non-ejective, non-uvular obstruents except before syllables with high tone.

Elision of coda /w/, making the preceding vowel a long rounded back vowel with the height of the original vowel.

Elision of coda /j/, making the preceding vowel a long unrounded front vowel with the height of the original vowel.

Elision of intervocalic /w/, making the preceding and following vowels a long rounded back vowel with the height of the preceding original vowel.

Elision of intervocalic /j/, making the preceding and following vowels a long unrounded front vowel with the height of the preceding original vowel.

/wː/ becomes /w/.
