The manipulation of earth and stone. While it does have ample combat application - rocks hurt, and can block things that hurt - it is probably more well-known for its non-combat applications, especially in geology, archaeology, paleontology, and architecture. Geomancers make good prospectors - anyone who makes their money via mining operations either is or employs a geomancer. The archeological and paleontological applications come naturally as well, removing the stone and earth as quickly or as carefully and completely as is needed. Geomantic architecture usually only applies to large stone structures like fortresses, castles, and temples in some cultures. Furthermore, almost all sculpturers of note have at least some geomantic ability.
