Speaking of conlang relays... I'm somewhat of the mind that we may want to start one here. Setting up regular medium-sized challenges seems to be a good way to maintain momentum. Anyone interested?

Never done a relay before, what exactly does it entail?
You get a "torch", i.e. a text in some conlang, along with all the parts (a lexicon, a small grammar) required to decipher it, you translate it into your conlang and send your torch to the next person.

Well, it's just always been a good practice in case the language gets changed / redone / abandoned and to ensure the problem is self-contained.

A thing to make sure with Relays, though, is that people actually send their torches. Also, some backup mechanism if someone drops out.

And... moved. I'm also thinking of doing monthly conlang challenges; not a relay, per se, but a regular writing exercise devoted to a given topic. I'd probably do it in a hierarchical format like a blog or something.
