Just for the starters, the comparison chart between two faces of the script.

The former was created two years ago; the latter is a recent creation.

I'd spend 4 or 5 hours writing these out by hand if I were you…there's several which aren't handwriting-friendly at all.

Dunno. I use a keyboard. And I don't think anybody by me writes in the script.

I used Inkscape to draw the shapes and Fontforge to put them into a font.

Translation

There was the first, large stone
and the second, small stone.
The two stones sat on a hill.
They did nothing.
The large stone said:
“I imagine, what is behind the hill.”
The small stone replied:
“Behind the hill there is nothing that one knows for sure.”

So actual handwriting usability is not one of your goals, then?

Not any further than making each character consist of at most one path and one horizontal stroke. If it were adapted to handwriting, then further simplification would need to be made.

...Y'know, it's wildly inappropriate to attach that stuff to the Formatting and Markup page, meficat. I'll... work on an alternative.

Ah right, sorry, I didn't realize what it did was attaching the files to an exact page until it was too late.

Looking at it again... the original block forms might be okay if chiselled or carved into wax. You'd really just need an intermediary handwritten form. Look at how Georgian evolved, maybe? The liturgical form (Nuskhuri) is quite pleasant.

I am already pleased of what I got, flick off.

Also, I was going to adapt this script for e.g. English, but that has to wait until I am totally rested.

Kinda what has been already said...it's nifty, but w/o knowing more it's just a font that you made...
