Maybe it is like the website of the university I am going to this autumn, Poznan University of Technology. It had a good site a few years ago, then they attempted to rewrite and improve it and it ended up… not much useful. (As opposed to the websites of particular faculties.)

And like the railway station in Poznan. It has a good large hall in a boring-looking communist-style cuboid building (that used to be an old-fashioned building even previously), then they attempted to build a new station and it ended up being mainly a shopping centre and not very useful. (As opposed to the Dworzec Zachodni, being roughly in the same place, but on the other side of the railway.)
