This thread is intended to be a reverse romanization thread: you post an orthography and people make up possible pronunciations / phonologies for it. This will probably quickly become a guessing game but I am sure there are people like me who like written glossolalia, for whom this thread may actually be useful.

Ideally, samples will contain all or at least a good amount of graphemes in the language. People bringing in non-alphabetical scripts (or really anything that is not Latin or Cyrillic) will be shot *stares at Nort*.

Here is a lame thing to kick this off.

Too lame! Too lame!

acute: ˥
no accent: ˧
doubled vowels indicate gemination/longer length

<a e i o u> /a e i o u/
<j h b bb ñ p m g r s ʔ w n g t d> /j h v b ɲ p m g r s w n g t d/
<ʔ> /ʘ͡qʼ/ because ʔ does not belong in an orthography you lazy person

...and the three or four cases of of <nj> are typos that should be <ñ>, and I'll hear nothing else!

Hah, this is largely what I did with the map I drew five years ago... but I'll post it here anyway, just to see what y'all come up with. (Note that this is a list of words (and toponyms at that) and not an actual utterance but whatever.)

quoting Uzhdarchios, Foreigner in Unknown Kadath:
(»namó, aman, arda, ímladris, harad, khazad«... was this perchance a map of part of Middle-Earth?)

I... may have stolen some names. (Including also Túna.) Although I don't remember namó being on that list... what is that in ME?
