So i recently realized IPA Zounds is dead... this both means i hadn't conlanged in a long time, and also that all things are fleeting and get washed away by time. I feel like someone being told that their old neighbourhood is now parking space for a shopping mall.

Zounds was dead from the start. It used a shitty feature model by default and was totally useless if you didn't want to worry about using features.

Yeah, but at least it had a GUI and parsed IPA natively... and it was tailor-made for my purposes, which generally consist on telling a RWG to make a few thousand strings in IPA and then fiddle around with a few sound changes until the resulting product sounds nice.

Oh, well, at least there's still the one that zompist made... if i need something more complicated i'll have to explore GUIless stuff. which i mean, is perfectly fine but i'm too much of a non-coder to be comfortable with.

I've never looked for more than 5 minutes at SCAs, GUI or no. I'm trying to get ready to use Morrígan's, though. I'm completely sure I'm missing applying parts of SCs in Ker Salanjan (and probably Anaşali too, but those I'll likely end up exceptioning just 'cause it's so much more complete). Having never done this, I'm handwringing and out of my element altogether. But I'm trying to try it (eat your heart out, Yoda!)
