Single Vowels

Single Consonants
k m n r s t
What this means is that k, m, n, r, s and t are the only consonants that can be used on their own, after a vowel and before another syllable or single consonant. This also means they are the only consonants that can end a word or sound on their own. A name like "Mab" would not be possible, but "Matt" would be.

Consonant+Vowel Syllables
All combinations of the existing consonants in the alphabet (not just the single consonants above) and the single vowels.
For example: ba, de, gi, hä, ji, ke, lä, mi, na, re, sä, te, yi, and za all exist.
There are a few irregular combinations:
shi chi zhi
These take the place of what might have been si, ti and zi
