Possessives
Anthologica Universe Atlas / Universes / The Allosphere / Vengic / Proto-Vengic / Possessives

There are two possessive constructions: e and su.

For example:

umara e Bidaadaa su ho atatumñu
umara e bidaadaa su ho ata-tumñu
glory E Bdáát_G|ʰaa POSS COLL father-son
the glory of the family of the Emperor Bdáát G|ʰaa

su is inalienable, and e is alienable. e has more scope than just alienable possession, but other e has the word order (modified e modifier), and possessive e has the word order (possessed e possessor). Su, on the other hand, has the word order (possessor su possessed).

Note, however, that su groups with the possessed, not the possessor. In V'eng it becomes a prefix.
