Negation of finite verbs is accomplished by the use of the negative desinences. The converbal bound forms can be negated by using a collocation of the negative converb -(ña)yog with the verb wolda "to become". The negation marker for adnominal elements, including the participial forms, is the postposition gaña "without".
Examples:
