The Ybrearmèlleon is a place beyond time and space, a dwelling where to rest from the noise of the world, and from the idiocy, stupidity, and ignorance with which people so often daubs it. Among the Divine Wrappings (the veils that separate various groups of dimensions in the Cosmos), the Hyperuranion is the last one, and within it Riam Tanyersac founded the Ybrearmèlleon, which exactly means that, "Hyperuranion", in the Eleutean language. The Hyperuranion, therefore, is the last frontier of the Cosmos, keeping it apart from the Universe or Absolute, that is the Divinity.

Despite not being really a place in the sense that us, humans, give to that word, the Ybrearmèlleon can accommodate a formal tridimensional site, with the appearance of any physical place of our world and subject to the same physical forces and natural laws. When we speak about the Ybrearmèlleon we refer to this idea: the habitable land forged by Riam by means of magic, enclosed within a spacetime bubble to protect it from the celestial weather. Within the bubble, the three space dimensions are the known ones, although the time dimension isn't experienced in the same exact way we experience time on Earth. Thereby, one can spend quite a lot of time in the Ybrearmèlleon, like days, weeks or months, for example, to return, later, to our spacetime at the same exact moment that person left it to travel to the bubble. As well, it's also possible to return to a previous moment, which makes the bubble, in practice, a kind of time machine.

The creator of the bubble and the lands within it is Riam Tanyersac, a former member of the now disappeared Eleuthean Court. Almost anything related or tied to the Eleuthean Realm and its empire, which once covered and dominated all Aerglè, is now lost, dead or destroyed after the cataclysmic events that put an end to the human civilization in Aerglè, the Dhaula Varlauve.
To flee from that destruction and save as much as he could from it, Riam managed to create the Ybrearmèlleon, a safe haven and retirement place. From a geographic point of view, the Ybrearmèlleon is large enough to accommodate plains, mountain ranges, rivers, cities and even small countries, for Riam had the idea to offer the Ybrearmèlleon as an exile place for the people he loves and other Eleutheans that, in his view, deserved it.
He lives in Arràs Tanyersac "Tanyersac Castle", where he works and studies, and tries to deaden all the suffering and sorrow caused by the Dhaula Varlauve. The castle lies within a walled precinct, raised in a high cliff on the sea of Armoriamne. In front of the castle's main gate starts the road that leads to the Golden Stairs, the way that communicates all the dimensions of the Universal Machine or Cosmos. It's like a double helix ramp that revolves like a golden spiral. Throughout the stairs there are rooms and celestial corridors that connect between them some non-neighbouring dimensions.

THE YBREARMELLEAN REALM

Geography and orography

Before going into the details of the cartographic and geographic matter of Riam's realm, it's necessary to say that the Ybrearmellean has its own system of weights and measures, which is based on the old Eleuthean system. The base for long and not-so-long distances is the tambre, which equals 1'26 km. Half a tambre is a cors (630 m), and 10 tambres is an arcatge (12'6 km, 12,600 m).
The geographic Ybrearmèlleon is a flat disc-shaped land of some 5,040 tambres of diameter. At its centre a few lines converge; they qual ours terrestrial meridians since, in a certain way, that geographic centre is the magnetic pole of the Ybreamèlleon, and that is the direction marked by the needle of a compass, as well as noses when itch hard in stormy days. Then there's a series of circle lines, put every 1,000 tambres from the geographic centre, which would equal our latitude lines if the Ybrearmèlleon's outer edge were the equator (which it's not, logically). With that we have the lines that divide the Ybrearmellean geography, which are visible in maps and outside them, since they appear as pallid golden lines floating a few metres above the orographic relief of the realm.

Nature and weather

For more information on the nature and weather of the Ybrearmellean Realm, go here.

Generally speaking, the climate of the Ybrearmèlleon lies between the Mediterranean climate and the oceanic one, with alpine climate on highlands and, in general, all lands above the tree line. Rain is abundant throughout the realm, making humid lands common, although here and there we can find maquis shrubland and garrigue where the soil is too poor or dry; and if the land is far from the sea and high, moorland.
In any case, there are no arid deserts in the Ybrearmèlleon, but there are a few cold deserts along the outer edge, since there the earth is frozen all year long. The width of this frozen edge changes from region to region, depending on the local weather and climate, and the particular orography, or if there's no land at all but sea. In general, though, it measures no less than five tambres nor more than twenty.

Politics

The government of the Ybrearmellean Realm lacks a complex structure, thanks to a culture based on everyone's minding their own business while working together to solve common problems. To deal with every day's matters and issues, each town and region is ruled by the people through local councils and direct democracy, while larger regions or semi-sovereign realms tend to have partially monarchical regimes, generally ruled by counts, dukes, marquises or princes subject to common law.

In any case, the common political and economic system of the Ybrearmellean Realm, the one above all the self-governing local and regional systems, is a kind of mercantilist democracy with an aristocratic feudal touch, since Riam Tanyersac, as forger and founder of the realm, acts as a de facto autocrat assisted by an executive council, the Privy Council. Together, they manage a few top level matters concerning the economy and security of the realm.
That makes Arràs Tanyersac an unofficial political centre of the realm, not excessively far but still a little too secluded from Aszarda, the official political capital, which is also the largest city of the realm by far, and the only settlement that we can consider a metropolis. The realm still lacks a constitution, although it enjoys the division of the three powers. Thus, the Pantaplerètheon is the deliberative assembly of the realm, while the Hermeticodèon functions as a high justice tribunal. Both are located in Aszarda.

MEMBERS

It is thought that the Ybrearmèlleon has some millions inhabitants, but no census has been made yet. At Arràs Tanyersac, where many important things are deliberated and decided, Riam lives with his small court of twenty-two members, which make the Permanent Council.

The Permanent Council

The Permanent Council is constituted by Riam and the twenty-two of Tanyersac Castle, all of them individuals or representatives of certain groups that played important roles in the last days of the Dhaula Varlauve and the forging of the Ybrearmèlleon.
The decisions of their meetings are published in both the Official Diary of the Sovereign Council of the Ybrearmèlleon, the realm's government gazette, and Ar beleg ve hyaz "The Mail from Yesterday", the newspaper with the highest circulation in all the realm.

The Privy Council

The Privy Council lacks a formal structure and a determined number of members, being more a name for a special council called by Riam when he needs certain people to deal with him very important matters. Their meetings are held behind close door and can be considered secret.
