(I was forgetting what the word for 'son' was in Ercunian/Ercunic, I thought it was [b]sun[/b] or [b]son[/b] and derived from the same root that hwatting's word comes from, but it's actually a different root)

It's difficult. You get some good background, and a great amount of Old Irish example sentences, a lot from real sources, but it piles on the information quickly and the transcription for phonetic stuff is difficult to read (using non-standard Greek letters to represent phonemes, instead of IPA symbols). There's a lot of reconstruction examples of Proto-Celtic through to Old Irish, which is nice, but maybe unnecessary for true ...

The god Toran is the Ercunic god of thunder and possibly of the sky and the wheel. He is equivalent to Thor in Norse mythology, Tuireann in Ireland, and Taranis in Gaul.
