móhuht, n. inan transaction, archaic (interstate) trade  stem mahuht-

usage: Súges, móhuht, and zgóso have split the space of trade/commerce since records began. For most of the time, móhuht reigned as the sole term for overarching trade, while súges was for a single instance of trade, and zgóso for a merchant or partnership/company's overall trading activities. As companies and guilds grew in size, zgóso began encroaching onto móhuht's territory, and by modern times it is rarely found except in its secondary definition of transaction, ironically pushing súges into denoting larger and larger deals.

etymology: ATz root max- + -ūxti (MTz -uht). See also émaht.
