Like I said, it's 'cause I went overlong on the subtitle. Also present on Sino-Tibetan.

Shouldn't the text, like, wrap around?

Working on it now. Apologies if it causes a few hilarious-looking page loads over the next few minutes.

Celtic is fixed, but Sino-Tibetan is still goofed.

Why does the page you go to after submitting an entry to a dictionary redirect you straight away? I don't have time to click the 'add another entry' button.

Can this be answered, please?

I wish I could help, the redirect has barely ever functioned for me.

Changed the default permissions for universe-related pages (except news posts + comments) to cadrecadrecadre—-r-; was previously cadrecadrec-dr——r-. This means other group members can now edit new pages, chapters, dictionaries, etc. by default.

... cadrecadrecadre—-r- ... cadrecadrec-dr——r- ...

I know absolutely jack shit and a side of fuckall about programming, but this repetition amuses me because I find it silly.

...yeah, that was a case of convergent design decisions. You can read about the definitions here.

What is 'attestation' for anyway?

Anyway, we should probably have a field specifically for things like inflection category.

That's what Part of Speech is for.

I mentioned it in the news post too, but I should add here that I added an "inflection" field. Later, the SCA will fill it out. Now, you can fill it out.

Yay! Good thing I've only put up two verbs, which are both defective.

ACLs can be emulated directly with a lot of user groups; but I'm pretty sure Unix permissions + parent access control is enough for most applications.

It's not technically impossible to change a universe's name; that constraint was lifted a while ago. I'll add it soon.

Thanks for the message regarding the security issue. Not as bad as I thought.

Well, the thing is—Universe pages currently allow freeform HTML, so you can put up approximately anything anyway. (But that was, perhaps, a bad choice, too.)

Why's my HTML broken?

Because of the <i> wrapping the cells; it's illegal. I removed it in a backup copy of the site and the table fixed itself instantly. The HTML cleaner that I just added for security purposes seems to have a few opinions about correctness as well. You may want to consider a <tbody> with a style attribute instead.

I've modified the HTML to tidy up the styling, but it's borked again.

For reference, this is what happens when I copy-paste the code into a .html file:
BgTFS4n.png

It does not do this when the styling is given in the divs I'm using for formatting purposes; only when I move it up into the style tag at the top and use classes.

Edit: I've done some more playing, and now the floating is completely gone. The changes have no effect in the .html file.

I've removed all style attributes. Have another look.

Edit now that I've seen your edit: The styling is still there, but in the style tag at the top.
