(NB: as far as I can tell this means that I will be sans internet on the ninth and maybe on the twelfth depending on how tired my eighteen hours of journey back to Switzerland makes me – but eeeehhhh I've spent longer times in Chinese trains and I was fine after that.)

Urm, IOL is the International Linguistics Olympiad (yep, the wrongly-fitting order is intentional), so it's a bit difficult to call it a Polish equivalent of anything.
