That really does like as if you stole it from Google Earth. (I know you didn't but...damn.)

Well, the terrain is SRTM30 data, but I had to do come up with an elevation gradient. Also, the rivers were drawn by hand ;_;

Great...you've managed to make me realize that I'm dumb and untalented in the span of a posts. Imma just go make a cipherlang and use the masonic alphabet...

And  now I feel inadequate for having shit-all for my maps. But I can't work on them because I can never concentrate in my room (because housemates being loud).

I like these maps; one complaint about Potena Ğazta is that the elevation seems to increase too linearly; you'd probably benefit from flattening out the lowlands with a quicker progression up to the mountains.

But then I have really no idea what the tectonics situation is.

I'm iffy as to whether that could fly geologically (the continent), but I'm willing to be convinced, potentially.

It’s sort of an artifact of the first incarnation of the planet being mapped by a four-year-old, but it does make for some interesting ecological and geopolitical situations.

Yeah, the linearity’s definitely a bit problematic, especially with that vast plateau in the east. Tectonic business accounts for it only partially at best:

Fortunately a simple change of colour scheme’s all that’s needed to fix it! — whenever I get around to that...

Also, the rivers were drawn by hand ;_;

That sounds utterly painful. No help from Wilbur?

Oh man, I forgot about Wilbur. But also, I probably did the rivers back in 2009, tbh.

Fuck I completely forgot about Wilbur…had it 2 or 3 reinstalls ago but it got lost in the reshuffling since then.

What would happen, climactically, to a planet that had a continent taking up the entire equatorial belt?
