ADD INCHES TO YOUR DICTIONARY OVERNIGHT :
Because the only true widely-accepted measures of a conlang's quality are "how Asian is your phonology" and "how big is your dictionary," and I loathe tones, it's time for a thread about my all-time favourite topic: lexicon padding.

There are two reliable sources of words: deriving stuff by gluing affixes onto pre-existing words and trawling through mountains of technical vocabulary to tease out neat things. For example, in Lilitika, I added an almost completely regular list of chemical...

Grrr Thread (2014-10-27 22:00:54) :
I don't regret it at all! The best part of autocorrect is contaminating its dictionary with a bunch of conlang words and discovering it now thinks that slight mistakes are suddenly barely-related shút.

As it appears H13 is not quite a bad enough dude to get around to RTFSing, I will probably fancify the locations display in a week or so.

I'm glad you like it! I can see how it appeals to the sensibility that went into designing Kala's block form. It's a total pain in the rear to make, but I suppose I can set some more stuff in it. It occurred to me that I didn't have an example of Lilitika that wasn't drawn with a tablet. Here's what it looks like when I have the use of an instrument I'm actually practised with.

(The text is "Rhetorica Rhamnusía" followed by some unfortunately not-very-coherent stuff Nessari said.)

Search page fixed: no longer craps out when searching for pages of all types. Still working on pretty display of getv() key-value store pages, though; as a result, user pages, dictionary pages, and universes (and possibly some other types) will look bad in the search results.

Almost undoubtedly—the insipid original yellow "smiley" graphic dates to 1963. Can you really imagine a 90s internet without such symbols plastered liberally everywhere? Look at [http://toastytech.com/evil/index.html|this] beautiful thing, and contemplate it.

Uh. No. This is about making sure regexes can be replaced unless they're adjacent to a word inappropriately. Feel free to break 'em up however you want—there's always [no_emote], too.

The secret is to use \B next to punctuation marks and \b next to letters, e.g. \B:o\b for ":o".

...Because there's something inherently funny about obnoxious smugness—if you're trying to ruin the community, anyway. Bad Ness!

A quick bit of Wikipedia-ing says that neuter came from an inanimate class, and both masculine and feminine came from an animate class (and another source says that feminine came from a mixing of the two. Said [http://www.tundria.com/Linguistics/pie-nom-morphology.shtml|other source] may help you figure it out.)
