[https://www.google.com/#q=html+tags+explained&safe=off|Googling "html tags explained"] lead me to [http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_intro.asp|This page, which is a basic html tutorial with some extra info], then I clicked on [http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_tables.asp|the entry on the left side of the page called "HTML Tables"] scrolled down a bit and found what <tr> <td> and <th> stand for.

Hint: Apple computers are not actually magical boxes which are different from all other computers in the world. HTML displays the same on a Mac as on a PC (the only possible difference is in the browser, and if Safari's that messed up [hint #2: it's not], get a different one). You can use the exact same standardized fonts anyone else can.

If you're going to suggest a font, suggest a less eye-bleeding one like [http://www.linuxlibertine.org/index.php?id=1&L=1|Linux Libertine].

And btw, I myself am a fan of (well-designed...) serif fonts, and your suggestion...how could you possibly think it looks good?

Post your goddess/god! :
Ok here's how I envision this working. You take one, two, or maaaaaaybe three of your conpeoples' gods/goddesses/divine forces/philosophical factions/atheisms/what have you and describe them, maybe summarize their CV, tell their origin story, their death story (you never know!), detail a cult or state religion dedicated to them, what have you. I'll start off.

I'm intrigued, count me in.

Forumworld can now be found [#35510|here].

To start off, how about simply taking the planet's geography from [https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/90/Blakey_370moll.jpg|late Devonian Earth]? Or, and this is not to be an ass-kisser, but I liked the continent you cooked up on some other forum, Torco. Would you be down with loaning it to us and positioning it?
Sure! I'd have to rotate it and play around ...

So I seem to have uploaded a dictionary to a ghost.

I used the Dictionary Importer to sort out the lexicon to Imperial Salanjan, having first created the [#101659|Imperial Salanjan Dictionary], but in the dropdown on the Importer there was only a line item Imperial Salanjan. I naïvely assumed this was just how dictionaries with "Dictionary" in their name would be listed (despite the counterexamples to that notion in the very same dropdown), and went about formatting it right. I f...

I'd had a thought or two regarding the island myself, namely that it could be host to a rival of Umam. Easy enough to work into a friendly and/or trading rivalry.

I'd suggest simplifying the climate map a bit, combine similar regions which are not present in our current area of focus (both distancewise and heighthwise). I also suspect this might be what you mean by half-assing. And I applaud you for doing this; as you say, shit's hard.

Well, Êndug's chronology is currently based on Ab Urbe Conditem (AUC/AVC), and while the timeline got seriously perturbed, Gaius Julius still rose to power, so he definitely put through the Julian reform before being demised (teaser quote from one of my timeline blurbs in 548AD "...the General, Marcus Antonius Severus (descendant of the great Triumvir who helped lead the Republic through one of its most trying moments some 500 years before) consulted with his advisors...").

Whenever I read Jerusalem I hear it being said by Patrick Stewart's King Richard from Robin Hood: Men in Tights. Also I keep reading Malasami as salami (not a complaint, just a comment).

I could see that working out...I wouldn't have it entirely abandoned though (at least not the temples/priesthood). Possibly large sections of the city still abandoned, and several previously less-attended temple complexes be fully abandoned (but also including one of the former main...

That works!

Possibly it's an area with religious significance, say a/some temple(s), and originally there were just pilgrimage tents...which brought traders to supply the pilgrims, who brought guards to protect themselves, who eventually formalized a relationship with the priesthood and started building more permanent structures for housing trade and defense, all under the ultimate suzerainty of the priests, who had no desire for it to have another official name (though there's certain ...

Would redirects be problematic? For example, from the [#52801|main Proto-Southern page] I just moved all of the Tzuman language pages [#74934|two subfamilies down], leaving a blank [#52805|language page]. I figured it might be useful to have a list of what's buried down in the subfamilies on the main page. If redirects wouldn't fly this could easily just be done as hyperlinks in the description, of course.
