I haven't been doing a whole lot of conlanging in the past few weeks; I haven't touched the language I was testing this with. I'm also kind of waiting for a GUI like SCA2 has.

Oh hey, so, I was reading the Wikipedia page on haplogroups, and realized that the video we watched in that class that discussed the Solutrian hypothesis was actually talking about mtDNA haplogroups,[plus]in this case, X[/plus] not Y-chromosomal haplogroups.
The bar is about 43.6 pixels wide, or 21.8 px/km. Binarizing the image at a level of 229 (about half way between the water/land luminosities) gives 1011711 white pixels. That leaves us with 2128.84 km² of land.

So I'm reading about Dravidian on Wikipedia.
In a sentence, however complex, only one finite verb occurs, normally at the end, preceded if necessary by a number of gerunds.
Apparently I came up with a very similar way of doing things all on my own.
