Argh conworld and conlang scratchpad :
I'm gonna try out these "scratchpads" that are all the rage among Kids These Days and see how it works out. Here's a short description of one kind of semi-irregular verb in Arghish.
[u]Postbases[/u]
Some verb lexemes have single-phoneme postbases which are suffixed to the root in the bare form, but which are preceded by certain suffixes in the conjugated form of the verb. These are probably fossilized aspectual suffixes in origin. There are four postbases: the most common postbases are <-z> and <-g>; the postbases <-d/-r> and <-y/-i> are less common.

I went through all of my IRC logs for #isharia during the year 2014, from january 1st 2014 to december 31st 2014, and took note of every time anybody ever said the word "cunt". After an exhaustive analysis, here are my results:

Is there any chance that the Mongolian grammar can be scanned in time for Pile 3.0 (early-mid January-ish)? I know you're gonna be busy with scanning other stuff.
I've ordered the Amazonian handbook from ILL, so I will scan the Piraha sketch (and maybe the other sketches in the volume), so you don't need to scan that.

Lakota. For whatever reason, almost all recent (as in, the last 100 years) stuff published has been in Teton/Lakota rather than Santee-Sisseton/Dakota, so just about the only Dakota stuff you find a...
