I got job.
(I went to the interview thinking that b/c this was a fairly technical position I would be considered but ultimately not chosen b/c reasons. However, they seemed to softball many of their questions (I now fear they are simply desperate for warm bodies) and during said interview they asked "If we were to offer you the position, when would you be able to start?"...I playfully joked "Thursday...*chortle*"...they apparently did not take it as a humorous suggestion...I start tomo...

Why? In the name of feathers and fedoras would you not know the schedule of the firm you are staffing? If someone who is motivated to work for you suggests their willingness is contingent on schedules, why not make sure you know what the fuck you're talking about? I have serious feelings about subcontractors. Serious.
