Let us say that it's on-site as long as part of the endeavor is hosted here.

Also I hate CSS.

BUT ANYWAY

We are now looking for something to feature in ~March

I agree, Anguipes did quite well, and I look forward to locking horns with her again in future games!

Anthologica Diplomacy -- Winter Edition (2015-01-19 18:23:55) :
Well, that was fun.

Anguipes can, I think, be commended on her performance in her first diplomacy game, even though at the end of the game she was more silent general than diplomat.

Anybody who wants to have the whole story can get the jdip file [https://copy.com/aqhJf0x3GfDvpS6V|here]. There might be supplemental material if Nae does his thing.

In any case: until the next round ~

And so, after bitter war, the three great powers agreed to find peace, and the map of Europe was as such redrawn:

Sadly for dhok, miekko has just voiced his agreement to a draw. Unless anybody changes their mind in the meantime, I will formally declare a draw at update time.

Anthologica Diplomacy -- Winter Edition (2015-01-19 09:19:41) :
I'm not sure. France is clearly in a precarious position- England can force a grab of Warsaw and Belgium this turn with no difficulty. France would have a net gain of 0 units in Winter 1910-1911. Brest, Spain and Portugal could go within a couple of game years, which would all make 16 centers for England. Paris and Marseille, which Turkey has little hope of reaching, would make 18.

It's not clearly a stalemate, is what I'm saying. Only Rad's reluctance to stab Miekko makes it one.

Austria is ***technically*** still in the game until the Fall turn is over.

However, it has no units and its remaining centres are occupied so if a draw were called now I would not include Austria as a surviving party.

Anthologica Diplomacy -- Winter Edition (2015-01-19 07:51:54) :
I keep counting 2 - 10 - 11 - 11 centers for the 4 players left (Austria - France - England - Turkey; I never worked out who was who)

Edit: Oh, I see where I'm going wrong. The colours haven't been updated yet.

Yeah, for a while I was planning on keeping the featured stuff to on-site things only, but, hey, it's good-quality conlanging, so let's do it.

Fucking hell I hate sports.

I don't care if other people care about and watch them, that's their thing, but when they're screaming so loudly about it that I can hear them over music being piped through noise-cancelling headphones? There is a problem.

Anthologica Diplomacy -- Winter Edition (2015-01-18 15:42:48) :
Whether that's a lie depends on exactly what you mean by a "front". :P

Either way there is no path forward that isn't going to take at least three more game years. And I personally would rather wrap up the game sooner than that.

Or, conceivably, someone else could take over England.

Anthologica Diplomacy -- Winter Edition (2015-01-18 11:05:25) :
Including currently occupied centres, Miekko has 12.

Rad: I don't mind either way to be honest.  Even though "everyone's fronts are well fortified" is an outright lie as far as I can see.  Don't know what you've got going with Miekko or why I'm being so passive aggressive about it, but considering I've been far too tired to get on irc and negotiate properly what do I expect wtf am I even going to post this I'm an idiot

Miekko and Anguipes:

We have 12, 11, and 11 centers, and everyone's fronts are well fortified. For any one of us to get from here to an outright win would be tedious and take a damned long time. So this would be a good point at which to declare a three-way shared victory / draw.

This is what gets my vote. Would either of you agree to this?
