These never changed from the archaic pattern of using word order:

[gb][g purple-having]zithuri[/g] [g 1.SG.GEN]si[/g] [g hair-F.SG.Ø]khríméa[/g][/gb]
My purple hair.
So this does this mean "the part of my hair that is purple"?

Is English in the early stages of losing pronoun case and verb concordance? (2014-11-26 00:51:24) :
Me [26 M] caught my girlfriend [21 F] of 3 months with another guy a couple weeks ago.

Me [19 M] just ended a friendship [18 F] due to feelings of affection.
These read more like "Me: 26 M, caught my girl..." to me, not as actual sentences, especially as they are post titles.

Right, so with this clusterfuck going on I think we will have to extend the deadline by a day so that Zayk can attempt to halfways play the game (Zayk you are hereby officially named Italy).

Definitely an interesting idea... but this would become a second set of inflections, ideally, although it *could* be interpreted as a different degree of definiteness, and hmm.

Some, most, and all of the partitives :
This started out as a yes-I-must-talk-about-this-now thread, but it occurs to me I have no idea what I'm doing, so instead of just soliciting feedback I'd like to invite others to share their partitive systems also.
Partitives in Lilitika
There are three categories of partitives in Lilitika:

(a) constructions where a set, general term exists; these are usually vague cases such as "some of the people" or "half of the night"
(b) constructions where a reference mu...

Interesting features thread (2014-11-25 14:38:39) :
The default meaning of using a dimension word (e.g. width, height, size, weight) as an adjective in Lilitika results in a minimal form, e.g. evegzí (small) from evegze (size). To create a "large" word, the generic prefix kel- ("great") must be added on (i.e. kelevegzí), and for "medium," a negation is performed with al(e|é|ez)-, (i.e. alvegzí). This originates in a cultural background that encouraged and normalized modesty....

Interesting features thread (2014-11-25 13:26:14) :
Modern Quazian has a ten-vowel system split into front (/i e æ y ø/) and back (/ɯ ɤ ɑ u o/) vowels. A single word can switch vowel classes as part of its inflectional routine, like so:

ŋakka "word (nom.)"
ŋäkkää "word (acc.)"

where Classical Quazian had ŋak'a and ŋak'a ja; later the accusative clitic ja merged with the preceding word and the -j- deleted, turning the preceding vowel into a front vowel. Since the penult was stressed, ...

Small reference frame? But yeah, I'll give a greater consideration to that. Although... I do kinda like the idea of having three ways to mark definiteness (the third is a sort-of-definiteness distinction on the verb in the third plural.)

I have had a chance to reflect further on the situation, and I've come to the conclusion that despite feeling otherwise most of the time, I may not currently be emotionally fit to cope with some of the realities of this game. I hope I can be forgiven for having signed up in the first place; it's not always obvious what one will and will not be able to deal with gracefully.
