Not any further than making each character consist of at most one path and one horizontal stroke. If it were adapted to handwriting, then further simplification would need to be made.

Yeah. give it eighteen years and we'll all be wondering how on earth did we survive with less than six teras of QTRAM, the next big thing after ram that uses quantum tunneling or whatever fancy thing. As for myself, i'm on a happy laptop with six gigs which chrome fills happily. Depends on what you mean by up to date. Securitywise not in the slightest; and in fact I've only had problems with flash working recently on Chromium, works fine on Firefox.
