Having more than one [!plus][!/plus] per linebreak puts everything between the first opening [!plus] and the last closing [!/plus] into the mouseover note, regardless of how many opening and closing [!plus]usses there are inside.

"Di ṣîn ma xán mambówi."

Here we are introduced to our first case marker, the partitive ma. It is enclitic and has no accent of its own; like all postpositional phrases modifying nouns, it comes before its head. As we'll see, if in place of ṣîn there were an inanimate noun, the construct state would be required instead. (More on that later...

Test thread! (2014-08-07 16:56:56) :
I once had to do a review of a book that was thick as hell. I thought I wouldn't finish it in time but, to my joy, it was stuffed with footnotes that covered a 50% of the page (in some extreme cases, and they weren't uncommon, the footnotes covered 4/5 parts of the page). Most of the information in the footnotes wasn't really important, so I diagonal-read it.
I love footnotes in books; still getting used to the idea of them on webpages.
This book on narrative theory I have acquires more footnotes with every edition. Some of them stretch over the bottom halves of several pages. It is fucking terrible and disruptive. Especially when there's relevant content in the footnotes.[note]Cf. Vogt, Jürgen. Aspekte erzählender Prosa. 10th ed. Paderborn: Wilhelm Fink, 2006. Print. UTB 2761.[/note]

It's a great idea (I'm a serial abuser of parentheses [I pretty much use them in preference to rearranging a sentence so it can use commas or semicolons; not ideal, but it's how I think], it's really bad sometimes), which given a little work could be incredibly neat and useful[note]I love footnotes in books; still getting used to the idea of them on webpages.[/note].

Okay. I'll work on it. Maybe it'll end up being more like an abbr tag, where whole words can be highlighted rather than just embedding notes.

I can see no difference between plus notes and just doing+something like this.
