I'm gonna make a conlang with the exact same phoneme inventory as English.

Bugs, Requests, and Changes (2014-06-17 14:14:04) :
I've removed all style attributes. Have another look.
Edit now that I've seen your edit: The styling is still there, but in the style tag at the top.

Bugs, Requests, and Changes (2014-06-17 14:00:59) :
I've modified the HTML to tidy up the styling, but it's borked again.

For reference, this is what happens when I copy-paste the code into a .html file:

It does not do this when the styling is given in the divs I'm using for formatting purposes; only when I move it up into the style tag at the top and use classes.
Edit: I've done some more playing, and now the floating is complet...

Bugs, Requests, and Changes (2014-06-17 12:57:42) :
Because of the <i> wrapping the cells; it's illegal. I removed it in a backup copy of the site and the table fixed itself instantly. The HTML cleaner that I just added for security purposes seems to have a few opinions about correctness as well. You may want to consider a <tbody> with a style attribute instead.

Diplomacy- Summer Edition (2014-06-17 12:47:58) :
There are approximately seven hours left until Halian's deadline. It is unlikely that this will happen, but perhaps some nomadic seventh player will turn up; otherwise, however, five players are not workable and diplomacy is cancelled indefinitely unless and until a full complement of players shows up.

Bugs, Requests, and Changes (2014-06-17 12:05:59) :
Well, the thing is—Universe pages currently allow freeform HTML, so you can put up approximately anything anyway. (But that was, perhaps, a bad choice, too.)

Bugs, Requests, and Changes (2014-06-17 11:57:07) :
ACLs can be emulated directly with a lot of user groups; but I'm pretty sure Unix permissions + parent access control is enough for most applications.
It's not technically impossible to change a universe's name; that constraint was lifted a while ago. I'll add it soon.
Thanks for the message regarding the security issue. Not as bad as I thought.
I just think it is a good idea to put some thought into one's phonology, rather than simply copying another language's phonology wholesale, unless one is trying to create a conlang that is intentionally close to that language.
please, Travis
how much æ ʌ ə ɑ ɪ ɛ etc do you see in there

My guess is that he forgot how to write mid vowels outside English conventions.

What is 'attestation' for anyway?
Anyway, we should probably have a field specifically for things like inflection category.
That's what Part of Speech is for.
I mentioned it in the news post too, but I should add here that I added an "inflection" field. Later, the SCA will fill it out. Now, you can fill it out.

Reference Wiki Discussion/Collaboration Thread :
The reference wiki [/?Reference|is located here]. It's a resource at Anthologica targeted at helping people develop content—and get around the site. So far we have a few projects on the go; Nessari is working on cleaning up the Natlangs hierarchy, Nort (with help?) has been developing a vowel systems reference work from old Zeeb material, and I've put up a little bit of stuff on writing systems that I plan on extending further. It's also the place where the [[Anthologica Documentation]] can be f...

It could merely be simple; I see many plosives. Not every house must be a summer palace.
