What do you use in the backend for search function? Just a simple substring or... regex matcher?

MySQL's "LIKE" comparison. Case-insensitive; % is a wildcard for anything of any length.

The latest post time seems to be called for the thread start time as well, now. Not sure if this was present last night or not.

I was gonna mention the Pidgin emoticons, but it seems that they're under copyright, so not strictly freely useable.

Also, for the colorblind among us, can you please use something other than dark red or brown or what it is for links among black text, maybe? It's hardly visible to me, since it'll look almost the same as black (red-weak person).

NE: The Elementary icon set is both open-source and contains some IMO OK emoticons in 16×16 SVG format.

Ah, good call. I'll see if I can pick out a nice shade of turquoise; that should be a rarer inconvenience.

One thing that would be nice is making the spoiler feature usable on touchscreens (e.g. by being able to toggle spoilers by clicking them).

Another thing that would be nice is after posting one would go to one's post after a moment automatically.

Yet another thing that would be nice is the gloss feature that got added to the ZBB, except without the automatic bolding so glosses can be more effectively nested and with a wider range of characters being allowed in the glosses themselves.

Note that after editing a post, after clicking the link to go to the post it instead went to the head of the thread, which should be changed.

Okay... that leaves:

spoiler clicks, apparently only an Android issue (javascript!)
erroneous "last page" handling when filling up a page on new posting (who would've guessed that 20 posts % 20 posts per page = page 1 and not page 0?)
what post you jump to when entering a thread (especially when the last page is full; same problem as above)
and what post you jump to after editing, "return to" page links)
and finally nesting glosses (will need to implement a new regex replacer function that applies a regex repeatedly until it fails)
