I would suggest you rename that "The Sweep" but there's not enough clutter here to warrant that name and I wouldn't want to jinx it into taking years

Converted the `data`.`value` column to utf8mb4, making it possible to cache formatting for posts and documents containing bullshit scripts such as Deseret.

Whatever font I was using before my last reinstall worked for Deseret, but this one doesn't.

It's nowhere near important enough for me to change, the boxes are just a dumb annoyance now which I hope will fade like every fad very soon.

Don't know, if you have any influence on that, but when I look up the activity histogram page on my mobile (using Opera Mini 8), the table looks clipped and unscrollable to the right.

Yeah, it's like that on all mobile browsers. The technical reality is a tale of clunkiness and not very interesting. If it bugs you... well, switch to landscape mode.

my own posts always seem new to me

this is not a reflection on the freshness and style of my writing, nor on any putative lack of short-term memory on my part
rather, you know how the board highlights things in blue ? at least it does for me when they're new... it considers my own posts new until i've read them. is this a neat trick to entice people to see their posts again and realize what they're saying before anyone else does ?

It's more that your posts aren't treated any differently from anyone else's, so the site tells you that you haven't viewed them in the thread, which technically you haven't.

Deliberate! You're supposed to auto-redirect to them (by not using a terrible browser like Chrome or visiting the website from the ISS). Although there was a bug in how Cadre generated auto-redirects for a long time.

related: is there a web browser that supports defining fonts by unicode range instead of language

because I am currently finding it impossible to have both Fraser and Cuneiform display at the same time

Am I mistaken or is Chrome the only option if you want the up-to-date Flash plugin on Linux?

Depends on what you mean by up to date. Securitywise not in the slightest; and in fact I've only had problems with flash working recently on Chromium, works fine on Firefox.

I will never understand how people can use a system with that little ram; unless you're on a tablet, in which case *slap upside the head for not mentioning that*

*wonders if it would be better to write this post using his old pc with 256 mb of ram*

So, you were being serious writing that 2 GB of RAM is “little”?
