Nargun distinguishes four accents: high (ˉ), low (˘), falling (ˋ) and rising (´), alongside laryngealization (⁷)

The plain explosives (p t...) occur only in consonant clusters. The aspirated explosives (p' t'...) occur word-initially in accented syllables. Word-initially in reduced syllables their fricated variants (p̀ θ...) occur. The voiced explosives occur only following nasals and liquids. Otherwise, the weak explosives (ʙ ᴅ...) occur. The youngest generation pronounce their uvulars as laryngeals ꝁꟸ or ꝁ͡ħ, pronouncing the weak and voiced variants both as ʜ̄.
