When traceable to an attested Old Gothic word, a link will be given to the entry on wulfila.be; when traceable to an attested Proto-Indo-European stem, a link will be given to the entry on the Indo-European Lexicon of the Linguistics Research Center at the University of Texas at Austin. Further, reflexes of the word in Early Modern and Modern Gothic will be shown in the etymology section. The following symbols will be used:
