Along with the Avarka, Elves were the original inhabitants of the Darkside.
Elves are much taller than average Terran human, ranging from 2 to 2,5 meters. To a brightsider, Elves are all white. But among the darksider, elves exhibit a large variety of skin colour. Unlike human, the elves have no hair in any part of their body, including the top of their head. Another feature that distinguishes the elves from human is their flat nose with two slit as nostrils. Oh yeah, don't forget pointy ears. They have ridiculously long ears.
The Elves have three sexes: male, female, neuter/ all of which had to cooperate in order to make a viable offspring. The neuter elves tend to be taller than the other two sexes and their canine teeth can protrude as far as beyond their chin.
Like the Avarkas, Elves do not age. Unlike the Avarkas, Elves brain deteriorates over the time. An old Elf dies from being mercy killed by their family.
The Elves were engineered by the Avarkas as a servant species. Their three sexes system were one of the safeguard implemented by the Avarka to control them. After the fall of Avarkas, the Elves proliferated and became the dominant species in the Darkside.
The Elves have a strong property rights and they have no limit on what can be owned. Some people from Brightside remarked how odd that a species that was used for slave, is now enslaving each other. In their culture, vandalism of other people's property is the highest crime and punishable up to death. As a result, murdering a slave is considered more severe than murdering a free Elf.
