The Avarkas were once the rulers of the entire Twiside. After their fall, only several hundred of them remains.
To Brightsiders, the Avarkas have skin in varying shade of green. Sometimes they will even have noticeable symmetric discolouration on their face. Unlike Elves the Avarkas do have some body hair. However, they are not as hairy as their descendants on the Brightside, the Orcs. Like Orcs, avarkas posses a set of horns on their head. Their nose is upturned like a swine. Other than their facial feature, It is impossible to know how the Avarkas body looks like. Their head is the only body part that can be seen and their elaborate clothes covered the rest. Since Avarka handle everything with their telekinesis and teleportation, no other species alive has ever seen an Avarka shows even a single inch of their bare appendage.
Avarkas robes are usually composed of several layers, some of them defy gravity. They adorned their clothes and their head with all kind of jewelry, some of them aren't even attached and just sort of... fly around them.
Like the Orcs, the Avarkas had two sexes of diploid (allegedly) humanoid Avarka and haploid Avarka tree. Since the fall of Avarka, however, their fruits-eggs cannot turn into either tree. When planted, the fruit just stay... inert, not growing but not rotting either. Only when a dead Avarka us buried under a Avarka tree will the tree bear a glowing fruit that can be turned into an Avarka (it won't grow into a tree either).
This means that the Avarka population cannot grow, at all.
Avarkas absorbs and transforms Ergon at a rate faster than even the finest crystal. Even before their domination and subsequent fall. The Avarka can already forgo eating food.
