pekanô, [peganɤ], prop. (//not in-world//) The mysterious abode of the gods (“fuh”, singulative “foh”), wherein some claim the dead reside. Myths concerning pekanô are varied, and so the term may be generally applied syncretically to various underworlds, paradises, and heavens of foreign religions.
