I have always been interested in languages and linguistics, especially endangered/indigenous ones, and I studied Latin and Greek as well. My 2 brothers also are writers and this inspired me to start conlanging. My first conlang has yet to be named and is currently in progress.
Started conlanging in middle school but only got serious about it like a year ago and decided to join CWS, got involved in conworlding by proxy after joining a collaborative project of which I am still a part.
I've started the creation of my world while I was playing as a kid, it's almost as old as I am. The creation of languages just came along. I'm studying computer science and love cryptography (old way).
my interest in foreign language led me to conlangs and I'd love to create a language + world for an album concept. not sure what I want to study yet but likely linguistics or international studies.
totally new to this world but hoping to learn enough about linguistics to finish a language in 2019.
My name is Benjamin. I'm a graduate of Kent State University; I currently have a part-time job at Giant Eagle as a utility clerk.
I'm also a member of my area's Writer's Guild.
I rediscovered my abilities in writing during my college years and began writing stories and poems again.
In addition, I am an avid tabletop role-playing game player. Over time, I became a Dungeon Master.
I started to create custom worlds for my games and I would like to take it to the next level.
I have been working on a novel series as well.
I do read comic books and manga. But I do occasionally read some short stories and poems.
In college, I had studied Sociology and have used what I have learned in my writing.
In short, I'm a scientist whose attention wanders incessantly and who's fascinated by languages, cultures, and the such. I like designing banknotes, maps, passports, and the like and tend to come up with countries and languages to have excuses for such. I also like travelling, languages, food, video games, and roller coasters. (Especially roller coasters.)
