I do have the raw version of that as a spreadsheet, I'll try to find the original and post it.

Yeah, sorry, it is the verbs one.

I have Beekes; it should be easy to use the index to build a new version of the spreadsheet. I used the Indo-Iranian dictionary too; Celtic might be based heavily on Masatovic, I've not been on that site in a while. I have a PDF of that book though.

Or bi. I might be guilty of contributing to bisexual erasure here. *shame*

Not that it's really any of my business.

And responded to it this morning. I think using a master index is probably the way to go, after more consideration. The only downside is if there are dupes in the old master lexicon (there are).

I dunno, I just feel like I've seen some cool, important lesbians wearing black blazers and denim and stuff. Like, Ellen Page I guess.

If I had a side-buzz, it would work better. Either that or that's the most hipster outfit I've ever worn.

I need to learn how to do more things with my hair, and get brighter fluorescent lights to use for shooting, and possible some kind of tripod mount for positioning them.

Also, I like how that all-black outfit might actually be the most lesbian outfit I've ever come up with.

Yeah that's cool. I was actually not even thinking of something quite as detailed, but that's great way to show the morphological information.

Basically, just a template of where morphemes go in the verb complex, like

[box]Past Prefix[/box]
[box]Agent Agreement Marker[/box]
[box]Aspect Prefix[/box]
[box]{Tense Stem}[/box]
[box]Modal Suffix[/box]
[box]Patient Agreement Marker[/box]

It's kind of good way to get an overview of what things might be marked on the verb. Obviously, it's more helpful for language which ...

It looks good, I haven't seen anything else that's really unclear. I'd suggest thinking about laying out the verbs a little differently, maybe just showing a template for all of the possible morphemes in order (the verb seems moderately synthetic).

OH fuck, color blindness is x-linked, but the second copy prevents it from expressing (typically) in persons with 46XX karyotype. There do not seem to be any common Y-linked traits, probably by the Y chromosome is a giant piece of garbage.

TBH, I've never been 100% clear on the meaning of "free variation"; I always thought that meant unconditioned, but I feel that I've seen it used in a way which excluded that possibility.

After doing some quick searching, it seems that my initial impression is correct, and that it does count as allophony; that sort of basic thing is probably better to put in the inventory, since there isn't much to it. Save conditioned allophony for the allophony section itself.

Yeah, I just mean that the passage could be read to suggest that <s> represents the phoneme /s/ in some positions and /ʃ/ in others, but I assume the intention is that /s/ occurs as [ʃ] in most positions but as [s] in others.
Both ”s” & ”ts” are /ʃ/ and /tʃ/ respectively, unless immediately preceded or followed by one another, then ”s” is always /s/ and ”ts” is always /tʃ/.
I presumed the second one is a typo. Also, since this is a section on allophony, it looks like the // vs [] use is wrong, unless the 'alternation' is actually based on a weird orthographic convention.

// instead of [] in a bunch of places

In the Allophony section, the description of s and ts is kind of vague. Like, ts is /tʃ/ except when it's /tʃ/. Also, does s become [s] when there is a /ts/ in an adjacent syllable?
