I wanted to discuss / contribute wrt the list of German irregular verbs, but I'm unable to write anything on the discussion page (http://anthologi.ca/?id=209491&mode=discussion)?

Sorry about this one: you have to create tags as separate index pages before they'll show up there. (Which means you need to know what they already are...) I'll try to get an auto-detection-and-translation feature going soon.

Not sure if this was a problem on my end or a problem on the site's end, but—
When I was registering my account, I put in the username, password, email etc. and when i clicked the button to make the account it told me it had encountered a problem. Naturally I attempted like four or five more times out of confusion/frustration and got the same vague error message that "something" had gone wrong. (Exact phrasing is a little hazy) Apparently the message was lying because I thought "Maybe if I just try to log in" and it worked completely normally, with no issues whatsoever.
Maybe be a weird problem with a redirect, or may have been because my internet has been disconnecting roughly every two minutes.
As an aside, while haunting the forums I've noticed that occasionally if I am on a page in a thread and go back one page—say from pg 20 to pg 19—the post that was at the top of page 20 will then be the final post of page 19, as if a previous post had been deleted somewhere or something. (Does that wording make sense?)

I can't explain why you saw that error message the first time, but I'm guessing every other time it was because the account already existed. There are, to my knowledge, only a few possible causes for that error, and most of them involve apocalyptic scenarios where the site's database shouldn't work at all, so that satisfactorily keeps the risks down.
When you open a thread on the forums, you don't get sent to the last page, but to the "end" page, which contains the last 20 posts. This was Torco's idea, and now that the interface reflects it properly, generally a good thing. This was done to minimize the chance that the last post on a page would be missed by readers when the page number flipped over.
