Test thread! (2014-09-02 13:14:42) :
Yes. That's the same issue. For some reason the regex pattern /\bx\b/ where x is the emoticon isn't working. (And before anyone asks, ":s" doesn't require any escaping.) I may just go quietly nuts.

Actually, I was trying to fix emoticon detection in general using :s as my test target. It appeared in [[muilyu]]'s email link and totally borked the fancy.

Revolutionary Derailment Thread for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Anthologica (2014-09-02 02:43:11) :
Also, a bit more seriously, I think I'd have to write a bit more internal documentation before an actual coup would be practical. It's not like ripping off a phpBB or something.
HOWEVER.
If you guys and gals do want to elect more forum or other sorts of mods—in my honest opinion, we don't need them yet, but hey, it's always good to dream big, right?—then I'll gladly accept nominations, Westminster style. (I've been practising the little screwin'-in-a-lightbulb-wave and e...

This... this is just some sort of therapy, right? You're not all actually fourteen?

Bugs, Requests, and Changes (2014-08-29 15:14:28) :
Fairly non-trivial to implement, and generally not an issue when you aren't trying to do something so heinously stupid. If someone wants to put an image in a header for legitimate reasons (e.g. a custom letter), that's fine! If someone wants to put a hyperlink in a header, again for legitimate reasons (e.g. making it link off-site) then that, again, is fine.
...and if someone wants to put an H4 in a footnote with a giant image macro in it, then make no mistake, ther...

Absences (2014-08-29 14:14:56) :
...wait, California isn't part-and-parcel part of Cascadia? Huh. Oops. My bad. I guess that makes more sense. (Although by "stoners" and "Microsoft employees" I was trying to allude to BC and Washington respectively.)

Sound Change Appliers (2014-08-29 14:11:17) :
Sounds good! And, actually, I have one more request, maybe; the ability to specify multiple rules files and have the outputs be saved in an interleaved format. E.g.
word 1 ruleset 1
word 1 ruleset 2
word 1 ruleset 3
word 2 ruleset 1
word 2 ruleset 2
word 3 ruleset 3
... etc.
This would be greatly preferable to running the SCA a dozen times for a basic inflection profile.
A lot of times, the program may only get run with one or two w...

Sound Change Appliers (2014-08-29 14:04:10) :
Take it a step further: permit class permutation at the same time.
(C)(N) > $C2$N1
Where the index in the set N is used to look up the index in C. So if C = {p t k} and N = {m n ŋ} this would swap the place of articulation without disturbing the mode.
If you add this, then I can retire happily and not write klank at all, confident that you've got all the bases covered, and it'll just be a matter of writing a wrapper module for the HT SCA and building a front-end tha...
