Bugs and missing features (2014-04-29 15:27:37) :
When was that written, though? Just googling for "ipv6 geolocation" turns up a few results of sites that offer it.
EDIT: It was written on "Jul 23 '09 at 11:22," so no surprise there.

Go ahead, sounds like you've got an idea of what's going on with that class of bugs so me prodding at them wouldn't accomplish much

Yes and no. Mostly no:
Also, there exists many databases of geolocation for IPv4 and, to my knowledge, none for IPv6. You will have to do everything yourself.
To summary: more work than you apparently believe.
Maybe in a century or two. For the time being I'll just make the default value "The Distant Future," since precious few people actually have IPv6.
or maybe it reset when i edited my profile?
Neither should happen. I might turn the Super Inefficient Perpetual Post Count Calculation Magic back on, though, just to force Nort into a post count disarmament treaty.

Angry Rant Thread (2014-04-29 11:05:51) :
Classicists don't seem to like to analyze suffixes in a helpful way. I think this maintains a shroud of obscurity that really doesn't need to be there. Also, is there any IE languages that doesn't merge most of the cases in the dual and plural?
