Anthologica Diplomacy -- Winter Edition (2014-12-05 13:21:23) :
I've thought about a variant before where Switzerland is occupied at the start by a neutral super-army with a strength of three which holds every turn. It must be ousted by a strength of at least four to be moved into, but after that, Switzerland acts as a neutral territory.

Some, most, and all of the partitives (2014-12-03 14:46:54) :
ProtoDec13 has a partitive paradigm built into the article prefixes, as a kind of number:
anparì/nnparì 'the coin'
janparì 'the coins'
hanparì 'some of the coin'
hjanparì 'some of the coins, some from each coin'
sanparì 'some of the coins, some coins from a group'
ḱińńiri nnparì 'the one coin'
-
ḱińńiri hanparì 'some of that one coin'
-
ḱińńiri sanparì 'one of the coins from the group'...

Sorry to hear. That's some of the shit that makes me afraid to go back to school. My tiny heart couldn't take it.

Great! Thanks for doing this!
And life's like this, there will probably many more Germans poring over this and pointing out typos and mistakes the previous onlookers overlooked. We Germans are a bunch of nitpickers. ;-)

The Italo-Russian Lament (2014-12-04 11:35:33) :
You forgot Anguipes' bismillah!!!
Also, the intro sucks if only because it spreads dirty lies about a supposed alliance between Russia and Italy.

The Italo-Russian Lament (2014-12-04 10:52:32) :
Is this the real alliance?
Or is't just my fantasy?
Stuck in a stalemate
No escape from the Baltic Sea.
Raise up your fleets
Convoy from the Holy See...
I'm just a poor Tsar
Allied with Italy
But I'm easy come, easy go
Little south, little north
Any way A(Mos) goes
Doesn't really matter to me
To me....

The Italo-Russian Lament (2014-12-04 10:45:17) :
Well, two things:
First, it should be called (or at least subtitled) the "A(Boh) Rhapsody".
Second, it needs an introduction... hmm....

Wow, you really took a blowtorch to the legs of that line. After you stuffed it in an iron maiden.

Hey, are you arguing that Wordsworth had sentence structure? Are you really?
But seriously, finding rhymes in -OI is hard. I knew I shouldn't have chosen a Spenserian rhyme pattern.
